iPhone 5S Parts Leaked After Our Evasi0n Jailbreak 6.1.3 Informative Article – Today, following our recent iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak informational article, the staff at Evasion Jailbreak decided it would be best to expand our article horizon and report on only the best Apple news and rumors. In a recent posting, a Japanese parts vendor named iLab Factory publicized images of what are allegedly components for Apple's upcoming iPhone 5S. However, as pointed out by iLab Factory, if the newly leaked parts are authentic, it's possible they could belong to the iPhone 5S' rumored counterpart: a low-cost iPhone model.

Leaked iPhone 5S Parts Suggest Design Change – Evasion Jailbreak

Oddly enough, the new set of photos highlights a previously unseen "Push switch" flex cable that features three buttons, which will presumably be found on the side of the devices. The new component is only remotely similar to the iPhone 5′s volume control flex cable, as the leaked part contains three buttons instead of two and a silent toggle switch.

The new and rather peculiar arrangement may suggest that Apple will phase out the mute toggle switch that iPhone owners have become so accustomed to. If authentic, the next iPhone may adopt an extra button, similar to the current volume buttons found on the iPhone 5, to control whether or not the device is in silent mode.

Additionally, iLab Factory highlights the vibration mechanism in the component pictured above, noting that it makes use of a new dual-head design. The reason and/or motives as to what may have prompted this change remain unclear, although it likely has something to due with improved performance levels.

As one final note of interest, iLab Factory also posted an image of the purported next-generation iPhone's front camera flex cable, that features a near-identical layout to that of the same component used in the iPhone 5. However, the leaked part is, oddly enough, missing an integrated microphone and numerous sensors, all of which are present on the iPhone 5′s camera flex cable.

It's certainly possible that this drastic simplification of the component is meant to accommodate a significant internal component design change.

Apple's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will likely take place some time in June, is quickly approaching. In years past, prior to the iPhone 4S, Apple would use the event to unveil and promote the latest and greatest iPhone. However, since then, Apple released both the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5 in fall, which leads some to the conclusion that the company will do the same with year's iPhone.
