iPad 5 Case Leak Following iOS 6.1.3 Untethered Jailbreak Details – Today, preceded by our earlier iOS jailbreak 6.1.3 informative article and the recent iPhone 5S component leak, new images of a purported iPad 5 accessory have surfaced from a case maker by the name of Tactus. The alleged 5th generation iPad accessory in question is a case designed by the company that features a clear plastic mockup of the Pad 5 to show how the device may look. Recent rumors suggest that the upcoming, next-generation iPad will adopt a design similar to that of its smaller and increasingly-popular counterpart: the iPad mini.
Apple's iPad 5 is predicted to not only sport a narrower side bezel to increase its ease of use, similar to the bezel found on the current iPad mini, but the device is also said to feature a mostly aluminum design with attractive beveled edges.
Leaked iPad 5 Case Reveals Design Change – Evasion Jailbreak
Other reports suggest that the next full-sized iPad refresh will bring an improved, thinner and lighter profile to the 9.7-inch iOS-based tablet.
In addition to the above images, Engadget has also publicized photos of a separate iPad 5 case leak from Hong Kong. Their collection shows a number of shots that compare the leaked case to one intended for the iPad 4, the difference is rather significant. Also, the images reveal that the iPad 5 may be equipped with similar dual stereo speakers as the ones built into the iPad mini.
Unfortunately, with the growing number of leaked alleged iPad 5 parts and cases that are already circulating through various suppliers, it's difficult to gauge the validity of these images and determine if they're based on genuine leaked specifications or simply on previous rumors.
